Early in the morning...
Have you ever woken up from a good night's sleep with a song ringing in your head? You have totally no idea when it comes to the title of the song yet you can't stop singing to yourself the only phrase that is going on and on in your head?
Well I have, it was clearly troubling as all I could remember was a phrase from the song, 'This is the way you left me, I'm not pretending, ...*dum dee dum*' It was a happy feeling as all I wanted to do was sing it out loud, seems like the song just sends a happy feeling down my spinal cord. Then slowly the phrase starts to fade away, like a dream from a distant past. Feeling afraid that it will soon be forgotten, the frenzy search for the song begins, asking around and googling the phrase, going through numerous nonsense and various different song lyrics before deciding that I might have actually nailled it. Searching through the 3000+ songs in iTunes and realising there's not even a single song that matches the title. Resorting to youtubing it and being contented when the right tune is found and I could again happily sing it, following the lyrics.
But that's not enough, soon the crave to own the song gets the better of you. I was lucky enough to get the song off a friend after asking around. So there I am, a happy girl, humming the song while listening to it.
Know the title of the song that made me busy for awhile yesterday? =P
Well take your guess, and then youtube it : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sl4WN-aOWDY
Enjoy!

Can't get no love without sacrifice
If anything should happen, I guess I wish you well
Close in heart though far apart

How I miss the good old times...
Spending time together,
Hanging out in malls
Having lunch together
Enjoying Big Bite's food
Laughing over jokes
Going for classes
Even getting reprimanded by lecturers
How I miss each and everyone of you
Though separated by distance
And time difference
In my heart and mind
I will always remember the good old times
Counting the days
For my return to Penang
To meeting up with you guys
How I long for familiarity
Though I seldom have much to say to some of you
It doesn't mean that you are forgotten
I recall vividly
The way you are
The things that made you You
That made you part of the group
Life moves on but memories will never fade
Till we meet again,
Adios my friends!

Father's day
In 52 countries around the world, Father's day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. This includes Malaysia, but in Australia it is celebrated on the first Sunday of September.
For those who are studying overseas, just in case you get caught up with the difference in culture, try to bear that in mind. Most importantly, keep your daddies in mind and wish them, June or September, who cares, afterall its the thought that counts!
Love your dads and never wait till its way too late...
Never dreamed that he would be gone from me
If I could steal one final glance, one final step, one final dance with him
I'd play a song that would never, ever end

by Rihanna ft The Dream
Nice tune
Good lyrics
Came across it in my received folder about 5 days ago
I have listened to it 210 times on my laptop
Not counting on my i-touch as well
Even when I study, revise or do my tutorials
At home or in the library
Am listening to it right now on repeat mode
Kudos to Rihanna

Presenting...
Tim Michin
Australian's comedian, actor and musician
I spent so much time hating it
But it never says a bad word about me
It's not perfect

Numbers,
Oh how much they mean to us,
You and I
We use them daily
Adults and kids likewise
Counting,
Measuring
Without them we are nothing
Natural numbers,
The most familiar ones
Counting numbers we call them
Positive and negative numbers
When combined together with zero
Sums up to integers
A new mind boggling term
Numbers can be rounded
But it never comes alone
Hand in hand are fractions and decimals
Rational and real numbers we call them
Not forgetting complex numbers
That we learn in tertiery education
Oh how complex it is
Living up to its name
Engineers use them
So do doctors and lawyers
And definately accountants
We can never run from numbers
No matter which occupation or field we are in
Without numbers
we are at a lost
Without numbers
buildings will collapse
Without numbers
people will die
Without numbers
the world will be in chaos
Without numbers
How do we divide
Or rather
What do we divide
Only with numbers can we
Sum, substract, multiply and divide
With numbers
We can count sheeps to sleep
Locking imsomnia away
With numbers
We have songs like
Ten Little Indian Boys
With numbers
We can play games
With dice
Or hide and seek
Calling out numbers while
others search for a good spot
And hence with numbers
There are
Telephone numbers,
Car plates
BMI
Permutation
Combination
And all that sorts
With numbers
Come our salary (yippee)
And so tag along
Our dearest friends
Bills and Tax
With numbers
Our lives are made complete
And with numbers
I present to you
12:34:56
of 07/08/09
With numbers
We have day, month and year
Together with it
We have hours, minutes and seconds
To live our lives to the fullest
With the people we have close at our hearts

First Friday In August
Been coming across this slogan for some time whenever I travel on the bus to and fro from city. Meant to google it for some time now but it always slipped my mind.
For those who are lost, Jeans for Genes is a national appeal in Australia and UK. Both appeals raise money to help children with genetic disorders but there is a difference between the two.
Celebrated today in Australia, this appeal is the major fundraiser for the Children's Medical Research Institute. It studies children's conditions including cancer, epilepsy and birth defects.
In the UK however, it raises money for the care of children and their families who are affected by genetic disorders. It also supports research into the causes and cures for these disorders. It is celebrated on the first Friday of October.
